A Basic Tutorial on Audacity... on Teachertube

Hi, all

Found this on Teachertube...

Hope it's useful to teachers out there. (Psst... it took me very long to download this video fully, hope it won't happen for you)

Some of the things you can do with Audacity are recording, editing and packaging your own digital audio file into a preferred format such as MP3 or WAV for use in presentation or post it on your website. The features include:

Record audio clip.
Convert tapes and records into digital recordings or CDs.
Edit Ogg Vorbis, MP3, and WAV sound files.
Cut, copy, splice, and mix sounds together.
Change the speed or pitch of a recording.

Get it from the educational tools section at our CITE website. Spice up your lessons with some sound... I haven't try it... but I believe it's good to equip ourselves with the basics of more ICT tools now, so that as we plan for lessons, we already have a few ICT tools to choose from that we can operate and incorporate effectively.

Learning never stops...

If only all learners understand... including ourselves.
